Area Parking Permits
Permit Renewal Zone G and N permits will be extended indefinitely during the pandemic. More information on when the renewal period will begin will be posted at a later date. No temporary permits will be issued for those needing to telework.
Temporary Area Parking Permits (APP) will be provided to residents in other districts who are teleworking and do not have a annual permit. Contact PBOTParkingPermits@portlandoregon.gov. You will need to provide:
- Full name
- License plate number
Permit staff will provide you with a document that you will need to print. Unfortunately we do not have resources to send temporary permits through the mail, and there are not options for pick up.
Please have patience as we work to figure out how to issue other types of permits. This page will be updated as we have more information.
We are not accepting new abandoned autos reports at this time.
New Website Coming Soon
PortlandOregon.gov is becoming Portland.gov! We are currently in the process of migrating our website. During this time some pages may become jumbled, please be patient with us as we work to redirect over 200 pages of content. If you can't find something that used to be here, try searching for it at www.portland.gov. If you still can't find what you're looking for, email our webpage migration administrator.
New Pay by Plate meters coming your way!
Portland is currently in the process of transitioning all parking meters to pay-by-plate meters. The new meters will require you to input your license plate number at the machine, and will no long dispense a paper receipt. For more information about the new pay-by-plate meters, including instructions on how to operate, and a map of current location, please click here.
