This afternoon, GVRT Officers located two handguns within the perimeter on a rooftop (PHOTOS). This is an on-going investigation and GVRT Detectives continue to follow up on leads.

"The solid work done by our Gun Violence Reduction Team has increased the safety of our community," said Chief Jami Resch. "Their diligence, dedication, and amazing teamwork is exemplary. Gun violence has no place in our community and I am grateful to the team for their continued efforts to interdict further violence and take guns off the streets of Portland."
