Behavioral Health Unit

In response to the changing landscape of police work and the requirements set forth in the City's proposed agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, the Portland Police Bureau has created the Behavioral Health Unit (BHU).

Canine Unit

The Canine Unit will be used whenever possible to augment officer resources by using the specialized canine abilities.

Provides a variety of investigative support functions for the Police Bureau.
