1120 SW Fifth Ave, Suite 1331, Portland, OR 97204
Thank you for your interest in the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) Block Party program. Unfortunately, due to our current state of emergency related to Covid-19, PBOT is not issuing block party permits at this time.
The health and safety of Portlanders is our highest priority. PBOT’s decision to temporarily suspend our block party program is based on consultation with local, state, and federal health authorities and what we know currently about the spread of Covid-19. These temporary changes also allow permitting staff to focus on supporting core essential services that keep our city moving.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to resume our regularly scheduled work throughout our many permitting programs when the situation improves.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our staff at (503) 823-4003 or PBOTBlockParty@portlandoregon.gov.
Our permitting staff are working remotely to help customers. Emails and voice messages are checked regularly and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
Insurance is OPTIONAL for this type of street closure permit. You may want to insure your event through one of the options listed on this page.
