Central City 2035 (CC2035) will update the plan and policies for downtown and central areas of Portland, Oregon. CC2035 will address challenges and opportunities in the Central City to ensure this unique economic, transportation, cultural and educational hub will be a vibrant resource for all Portlanders over the next 20 years.
CC2035 will also include an update to the Willamette Greenway Plan for the Central Reach, integrating the vibrant, multi-purpose Willamette riverfront into the Central City's future.
The Planning and Sustainability Commission completed their work sessions on the CC2035 Plan and voted to forward their Recommended Draft to City Council on May 23, 2017. That draft will be the subject of City Council hearings beginning September 7, 2017, and council discussions later in the fall. Adoption of the new plan is currently anticipated for early 2018.
