New Field Issuance Remodel (FIR) Program Webpage

Person with paperwork and hard hat on a desk. Are you a contractor who performs routine alterations and additions on one-or-two family dwellings or accessory structures or construction of new detached accessory structures? Are you a homeowner looking for a contractor for your home remodeling project? The Field Issuance Remodel (FIR) program might be right for you!

The Field Issuance Remodel (FIR) program is designed to serve contractors that perform recurring alteration and addition work as well as new construction of accessory structures. The FIR program pairs contractors with a Senior Combination Inspector from the Bureau of Development Services, who are certified to do plan review and inspections to assist with your projects from conception to completion. To participate in the program contractors must be registered to participate.

Starting today, homeowners can see what type of projects qualify for the program and a complete list of all registered contractors to help in selecting a contractor for their project. Contractors interested in the FIR program can learn about the program requirements and determine if being a part of FIR would be the right fit for their business.

For more information about the FIR program, visit our webpage.
